The Library has partnered with the University of North Texas through their Texas Digital Newspaper Program to have our collection of local newspapers on microfilm digitized. Funded by a grant from the Tocker Foundation, more than 200,000 pages of historical Burnet County newspapers will be made available online through UNT’s online platform The Portal To Texas History.

Issues of our newspapers are being sent to UNT to be processed in batches. As soon as they are processed they will be posted on The Portal.
