    Designed for young children and their caregivers, Library storytimes engage participants with fun, dynamic early learning activities.

    During a 45 minute storytime, children and their caregivers enjoy books, songs, action rhymes and crafts. Storytimes support healthy, whole-child development and foster early literacy skills that are essential for reading readiness.. Younger and older children are welcome to join in.

  • 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

    1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

    Read 1,000 books to your newborn, infant, or toddler before they reach Kindergarten (you may re-read books as many times as needed). Come in to the library to sign up and get your first 100 Books Log. Bring your child with their log every 100 Books and celebrate their milestones! If you would like, we will take a picture of your child holding the "I Read a 100 Books!" certificate and email it to you. Once you have reached 1,000 books your child's picture will be displayed on our "I've Read 1000 Books" board in the children's area (with your permission)
